Ghost of the lift lock – Lift lock escape rooms

Overall, we didn’t really like this room. We’re not sure if it’s because we’re not fans of the concept, the execution, or a combination of both. It’s a family-friendly experience and better suited for small groups of 2–3 people. We’re happy with our performance since we completed all the rooms quickly and only asked for two hints—but even though we escaped, this one wasn’t for us.

Antidote – Escapology

Overall, we liked this escape room because the puzzles were fun and well thought out, the theme and story worked well and the decor looked fine! This game is family-friendly and best suited for 2–3 players. We are happy with our performance because we completed the room with time to spare and only asked for one hint. We liked it, and we escaped!

The visitors – Lockdown Ottawa

Overall, this wasn’t our favorite room at this location. We were hoping for more polished and creative decors, and while the puzzles were enjoyable, there simply weren’t enough of them. The room isn’t really scary, though kids might be uncomfortable with the darkness. It’s better suited for small groups of 2–3 people. We’re still happy with our performance, as we completed the room quickly and only asked for one hint. We liked it okay—and we escaped!

Cursed temple – Crypto escape rooms

Overall, we enjoyed the room, especially because of the immersive set design and well integrated puzzles. We would have preferred slightly less storytelling between challenges, but it was still a fun experience. It is family friendly and best suited for groups of two to three people. We were happy with our performance since we finished quickly and only needed one hint. We liked it and we escaped!

Devil’s toy box – Freeing Canada station

Overall, this room was disappointing because of the lazy decor and the lack of puzzles. The room is scary if you don’t like darkness, but otherwise there are no jump scares or actors. It’s better suited for small groups of 2–3 people. We are happy with our performance because we completed the room quickly and didn’t need any hints. We didn’t like it, but we escaped!

Zone 7 – Le maître du jeu

Overall, we liked the room okay especially because of the puzzles but we think that some improvements could be made. There is nothing scary in the room but the puzzles are too difficult for kids and the room is better suited for groups of 4-5 people. We are still ashamed of our performance, as we didn’t succeed and needed 3 hints, and we would have needed at least 10 more minutes. We liked it okay, and we didn’t succeed!

The final stop V2 – Escaparium

Overall, we highly recommend trying this escape room because the decor is truly impressive, and the whole experience is exceptional. It’s appropriate for families with children, as the atmosphere is only mildly stressful. We think that it’s better suited for groups of 4 people. We are not too happy about our performance, as we completed it with a decent time but asking for three hints. We loved it and we escaped!

Starry night -Maître du jeu

Overall, we liked the room for its beautiful décor and fun scenario, but we wished for more puzzles to solve. It’s a family-friendly room, best suited for small groups of 2–3 people. We were happy with our performance, as we completed the room quickly with only one hint. We liked it, and we escaped!
