Sherlock was the second room we played that day at Escape Manor. In this scenario, Sherlock Holmes has gone missing. After searching his flat from top to bottom, it becomes clear that something is wrong. While there are plenty of secrets hidden throughout the space, there is no trace of him. One of his cases remains unsolved, which is unusual, as he would never leave without finishing his work. It is now up to you to investigate, unravel the mystery, and discover what happened to him. We liked the scenario because it is well detailed and has a clear objective. Sherlock Holmes is also a theme we are always curious about, and we usually enjoy it.

The decor was well executed and in good condition. The space was used effectively, with many clever ideas throughout. There was a lot to observe, and the environment felt realistic and well aligned with the story. The objective, figuring out what happened and where, was clear from the very beginning. One small detail that did not quite fit was that the character who welcomed us did not match the story, but this did not impact the overall experience too much. We also enjoyed the background music during the game.

The puzzles were fun to solve and were well connected to the theme and story. The room relied mostly on traditional locks, with a few automated elements included. It was a linear experience, with a smaller number of puzzles that were generally on the more challenging side. One downside was the lack of feedback after solving the final puzzle. There was no clear indication that we had completed the room, which left us waiting and wondering if we were finished. Hints were provided via a phone using a number given at the start of the game.

Overall, we enjoyed this room. The decor was strong, and the puzzles were both fun and challenging. It is a family-friendly experience since it is not scary, although the difficulty level may be a bit high for younger players. It is best suited for groups of 4 people. We were happy with our performance, as we completed the room with time to spare and did not need any hints. We liked it and we escaped!
