The second escape room we did that morning at Escaparium in Laval was The final stop V2. In this scenario, the ASM (Automatic Metro System) has restarted its automated metro project, and we were among the first to try it. They even set up a station right at Escaparium! In 1999, the technology had some flaws, leading ASM to abandon the project, but now the technology is at its peak. This company will revolutionize the future of public transportation. Of course, absolutely NOTHING can go wrong… The scenario is original and full of surprises throughout the game, as you’ll never guess the ending.

The decors are stunning and incredibly realistic. Part of the room is what we call a motion game, which makes the decors and experience even more believable. There are several different rooms, and they are very large. The atmosphere is slightly unsettling because the rooms are a little bit dark, but nothing too intense. We also enjoyed the music played during the game and we were really impressed with the immersion.

There aren’t many puzzles, but some are quite challenging. All of them are related to the theme, and they mainly consist of automatic mechanisms. There are also a few traditional locks and some manipulation puzzles. Hints are given through a walkie-talkie by a character related to the theme for three out of the four rooms. In one particular room, the way to give hints was brillant and so funny. It matched the room perfectly.

Overall, we highly recommend trying this escape room because the decor is truly impressive, and the whole experience is exceptional. It’s appropriate for families with children, as the atmosphere is only mildly stressful. We think that it’s better suited for groups of 4 people. We are not too happy about our performance, as we completed it with a decent time but asking for three hints. We loved it and we escaped!
