Wizard’s academy is an escape room inspired by Harry Potter. In this scenario, the reign of the dark wizard has to stop. There’s a secret chamber in the school and we need to get in. Are we going to succeed or will our life be in danger? I’m personally not very impressed with this scenario, it feels like it’s missing some details and a clear goal.
At this location, all exterior of each escape room doors are decorated which makes things so much more fun and brings the immersion up! As we enter the room, there’s a short video that explains de rules and the scenario. The decors are really well done and there’s more than 1 room which is always a plus.
The hints are given on a big screen in the room. The game master is watching us from cameras so he can help us exactly with the puzzle that we are struggling. This room is not linear which means that we can do many things at the same time. The puzzles have a nice variety of mechanisms and are related to the theme. In this room, the lights and music change whenever we solve a puzzle. On the downside, we had to use the same answer for two puzzles and two automatic puzzles were broken.
Overall, we recommend this escape room as it was a lot of fun with many great puzzles and nice decor. We are quite happy with our performance as we finished with a good time using only one hint. We liked it and we escaped!
