That theme definitely attracted us! A hit and run was reported. Grandma was unfortunately run over by a reindeer and passed away, and you’re on a mission to investigate it. Not your usual Christmas themed room!

We were welcomed by our gamemaster Susan and she was great! We also had a little fan moment when we realised that she was a contestant in the first season of Best in miniature! Go watch the show if you haven’t seen it yet, and make sure to follow her on Instagram!

The rooms were cute and festive! We also really like it when the entry door is decorated, which puts you in the mood and gives you an idea of what’s coming. The rooms are big, but there’s no ceiling, so it opens on the big space. We were the only ones there so it didn’t matter, but could make a difference in the immersion when all the rooms are going to used at the same time.

It’s a great family-friendly room with a wide variety of puzzle types and a good balance of difficulty. This room isn’t linear which is always what we prefer and the puzzles are all related to the holiday investigation theme. Hints are given on the screen after you’ve done your ‘’I’m lost, I need a hint’’ kinda dance at the camera.

There was one thing that we saw for the first time that was so cool and surprising, but no spoiler of course! We were happy with our performance but we had our usual omg-have-we-ever-done-an-escape-room-can’t-believe-we-missed-this moment but oh well.

We had a lot of fun, but sadly didn’t have time to do the other room but we hope to be back soon! It’s definitely family friendly and perfect for groups of 3-4 people. We loved it and we escaped!
