The school of witchcraft and wizardry – Exit

This escape room was the second one that we’ve done at Exit New Westminster. I personally love any room that is Harry Potter themed so I was looking forward to try it! In this scenario, we find an ordinary book in the library that is giving a clue about the location of Slytherin’s chamber. With our friends, we will try to find it tonight after curfew. I like the scenario as it reminds me of the second book in the Harry Potter series. It might be harder to relate to it if you aren’t familiar with the books. 

The decors were fine but we weren’t too impressed with them this time. There wasn’t any wow factor and it needed some work. But we could see objects and accessories inspired from Harry Potter which is nice. Also, the flow between the rooms is good and matches the story line. 

We liked the puzzles as they are all related to the theme with a nice variety of mechanisms. They puzzles had a good level of difficulty, not too hard or too easy. The hints were given with the intercom which is a fine way to do it. 

Overall, we liked the puzzles of this escape room but weren’t too impressed with the decors. It’s a family friendly room and better for less experienced escape artist. We finished with a good enough time to be on the wall of fame. We liked it and we escaped!
