The Elevator was the first room we did at Perplexity Escape Games that evening. In this scenario, everything about our new loft seems perfect — and the rent is suspiciously low. Now we know why! On moving day, the elevator malfunctions and we get stuck. Turns out, our landlord was too cheap to pay for proper maintenance, so it’s on us to fix it and find a way out before we run out of oxygen in the shaft. We liked the scenario because it’s unique, funny, and well detailed!
The decor was well done and realistic. Even though it was only one room, it made perfect sense with the theme and story. The music choice was great — it really felt like we were inside an elevator! The team behind this game was clearly creative, and the set design was solid overall. We also appreciated that the game master introduced the story in character and clearly explained the rules specific to this room.

The puzzles were fun and fit perfectly with the story. Everything made sense with the goal of the mission. It was a mix of traditional locks and automatic mechanisms. There weren’t too many puzzles, and they were fairly easy, which fits since it’s their beginner-level room. We could reach the game master for hints using a themed phone, which was a nice touch.
Overall, we really liked this room — the immersion and decor were great, and the puzzles were enjoyable! It’s a family-friendly experience, best suited for smaller groups of 2–3 people. We’re happy with our performance since we finished quickly and only needed one hint. We liked it — and we escaped!
