Our day continues with The Cabin at Escape City in Edmonton. In this scenario, it’s one of the worst storms on record and you’re far from the city, beginning to fear the worst. So, you spot a cabin and enter inside. From the first step inside, you immediately think your luck has turned. Suddenly, the door locks behind you. We thought that the scenario was well detailed and that the goal was clear.
The decors are really well done in this escape game with many unique and interesting accessories. However, it was only 1 1/2 rooms so we would have preferred more rooms. The immersion was good but our expectations were a bit higher after doing other rooms at this location.

The puzzles are varied and original. They are all related to the theme and are mainly traditional locks. Unfortunately, there was a puzzle with a lock that was already open when it was supposed to be closed. For the hints, the game master enters the room to help us, and that’s not our preferred method.
Overall, we enjoyed this escape game because the decors are nice, and the puzzles are fun to solve. The room isn’t that scary but it’s dark with a creepy atmosphere. It’s perfect for smaller groups of 2-3 people. We are satisfied with our performance, as we completed it with a good time while only asking for 1 hint. We liked it and we escaped!
