Temporal Pursuit: Chase Through was the last room we attempted at Exit in Langley. In this scenario, our team disembarks from a helicopter in a forest. For some reason, we need to investigate England in 1512, so we set the Time Machine to that destination. A portal appears, and we step through. Then everything goes silent. While the scenario is well-detailed, it reminds me of another room at this location. Additionally, I felt it lacked a clear goal and was a bit strange.
The decor was disappointing and very basic. It followed the same layout as the other rooms, so there were no real surprises. There was also a mannequin of a dead human at the end, which, like in most rooms there, didn’t make sense. We felt that the rooms didn’t match the story.

The puzzles were also disappointing and somewhat boring. The room wasn’t set up well for us, causing us to progress to the second room too quickly, and this confusion made us lose a lot of time. The puzzles were a mix of traditional locks and automatic mechanisms. At the end, it was stated that if you exit without finishing all the puzzles, it’s considered a fail. The game master came into the room to give hints.
Overall, we didn’t like the room because the story was weird, the decor was basic, and the puzzles were boring. It’s a family-friendly room better suited for groups of 2-3 people. We were unhappy with our performance because we almost escaped and asked for two hints. We didn’t like it and didn’t escape!
