Propagande – Exode Évasion

Propagande was the fourth room we attempted at Exode Évasion in Québec City. In this scenario, we are part of an environmental movement called Green Planet. For a few days, the media have been promoting behaviors that are damaging to the environment. We decide to break into the old radio station CKLM, which has been closed for 20 years, to hijack the airwaves and spread our message. We liked the scenario because it was well-detailed and had a clear goal! We also thought that the theme and storyline were unique.

The decor was really well done and believable! We loved the way to navigate between the first and second rooms as it matched the storyline perfectly. They used the space wisely, and their attention to detail is outstanding. We also enjoyed the background music that was playing.

The puzzles were fun to solve and offered a nice variety. They were all related to the theme and were just challenging enough. It was a mix of traditional locks and automatic mechanisms. To get hints, we would call the game master on a phone while he played a character related to the theme. We thought this way of giving hints was brilliant!

Overall, we loved this escape room because the decor and puzzles were amazing! It’s a family-friendly room better suited for groups of four people. We were happy with our performance, as we completed the room with some time to spare and only asked for two hints. We loved it and we escaped!
