We started our day at Exit in Calgary with Buccaneer Bay. In this scenario, you and the crew heard disturbances on deck. You go see what’s happening and realize that your ship is heading towards the Kraken! You all panic a bit, but let’s check what the captain says first. You go to her cabin, open the door and realize she’s not there. One part of the crew wants to search for the treasure on board, while the other wants to steer the ship in another direction. Which team will you choose?

Before starting the escape room, the game master told us the introduction story with a lot of enthusiasm. We started the room with our hands tied with handcuffs which doesn’t make any sense with the storyline. The decors were beautiful and well done. We thought it was quite realistically made. We enjoyed the music played in the rooms and overall the immersion was great.
The puzzles were linear so we couldn’t do several at the same time. They had the perfect level of difficulty, neither too easy nor too difficult. They were mainly traditional locks, but with a nice variety of logics still. The game master entered the room to give hints.
Overall, this is a beautiful room with fun puzzles. It’s a great room for families and small groups. We are very happy with our performance, as we finished with a good time and didn’t ask for any hints. We liked it and we escaped!
