Yukon Gold – Escape!

The Yukon gold escape room was already our 4th room at this location. Our expectations were very high as we were already impressed with the rooms that we’ve done before. And we weren’t disappointed! The story takes place at the beginning of the gold rush in Yukon. Some rumours said that the owner of a saloon found a huge gold nugget. Jealous of his wealth, the sherif accused the saloon owner of thief and stole his gold. The saloon’s owner children decided to take revenge and get his gold back! But the sherif, children and gold all disappeared. Is it possible today to find this hidden treasure?

The ambiance was great in this room as there was country music playing which matched the theme well. The decors were absolutely amazing and really realistic. We would also describe this room as physical because we had to crawl and climb. The way to get to the second room completely surprised us!

The hints are given with a walkie-talkie which isn’t our favorite way, but everything else was so amazing in this escape room that we don’t care about it that much. The puzzles are all related to the theme with a great balance of locks and automatic mechanisms. Also, the puzzles were fun to solve, fairly hard and with a nice variety of logics.

Overall, we are satisfied with our performance since this room wasn’t the easiest but we still needed 3 hints to escape in time. We highly recommend this room as we had a lot of fun even if we didn’t like how the hints were given and that it was only 45min long. It would be a good room for experienced escape artists and groups of 3-4 people. We liked it and we escaped!
