The call of Duty was the last room we did at Alcatraz Escape Rooms on May 17th, 2025. In this scenario, our team was called to rescue four soldiers and a scientist who went missing while attempting to retrieve a biological weapon. We had to bring the prisoners back along with the weapon before it was too late! We thought the scenario was fine and had a clear goal, but it was missing a bit of a unique twist and more details.
We found the decor to be realistic and perfectly matched to the storyline. Each room had a very clear purpose, and we particularly liked the first room because it was unique and cleverly thought out. The attention to detail and finishing touches were spot on. We appreciated the music that was playing during the game and how the puzzles were seamlessly integrated into the decor.

The puzzles were fun to solve and all related into the story and theme. It was mostly traditional locks with some automatic mechanisms and manipulation puzzles. We liked that we had to go back to the first room to find a clue. We had a great time with these puzzles—they were clever and not too complicated. The hints were given via walkie-talkie.
Overall, we had such a great time with this game because the decor was well done, and the puzzles were fun to solve! It’s a family-friendly room that is better suited for groups of 2-3 people. We are happy with our performance because we completed the room with a great time and didn’t need any hints. We loved it, and we escaped!
