We’ve tried this room at the end of a summer where we traveled across Canada and did a bunch of escape rooms in many different cities. In this scenario, we are a secret spy and one of our colleague is missing. With our team, we have to enter his apartment and find information about what he was working on and find where he is right now! We realized that the apartment is full of puzzles that we have to solve in order to accomplish our mission. The spy theme is a classic in escape rooms and it always works well in my opinion.
The decor is well done but a bit basic. The immersion wasn’t great either as we were brought into the room without any introduction, story or video. We just dropped our stuff in a box and got started.

The puzzles were not linear and it was hard to determine what to do next or where to start. We always had to ask for help to know what to do next and this was breaking the flow of the room. Maybe it was our lack of experience at that time or simply the flow of the room wasn’t working well. But most of the puzzles were great and it had a nice variety of mechanisms. We also didn’t like how they were giving hints. We had a phone that we would use to scan a code on the puzzle/lock and we would then find a written hint. Most hints weren’t helpful or it was something that we knew already.
Overall, this room isn’t our favorite as it was more frustrating than fun. It didn’t have the best immersion either. We didn’t escape (but almost) and we didn’t feel that it was our best performance. The room is family friendly as it’s not scary and there are a good amount of puzzles so it’s good for 2-4 people. It’s a good room for beginners or more experienced escape artists. The room is also available in english and french. We didn’t really like it and we didn’t escape. (but almost)
