Special Ops: Infiltration was the last room we did that evening at Exit Kamloops. In this scenario, we are a team of special agents tasked with gathering evidence against a local crime syndicate. After some time, we identified an abandoned warehouse as their base of operations. Only hours before attempting to infiltrate the warehouse, half of our team went missing. They have surely been kidnapped by the syndicate and are being held in that warehouse. Our mission is to infiltrate the warehouse, rescue our team, and get out without being caught. We liked the scenario as it was well-detailed and had a clear goal.

The decor was nice, and the flow of the rooms matched the scenario pretty well. We started in separate rooms, which showed that part of our group was the kidnapped team members and the other part was the rescuers. The only downside was that some accessories were labeled as useless for the game.

The puzzles were fun to solve but very easy, especially the very last puzzle. We spent some time thinking it couldn’t be the answer because it was too simple. It was mainly traditional locks, and there was a nice variety of logic puzzles. To get hints, the game master comes into the room to help.

Overall, we liked the room but found the puzzles too easy. It’s a family-friendly room, better suited for smaller groups of 2-3 people. We are happy with our performance, as we completed the room by beating the best time and didn’t ask for any hints. We liked it and we escaped!
