Our day at Escape! started with this escape room. We start off with handcuffs in a pirate ship. We are prisoners from ruthless pirates and we hear them talking about a treasure hidden somewhere inside the boat. When they fall asleep, we decide to escape the prison and find the treasure ourselves!
The immersion is outstanding: the decors are very realistic and the music is perfect for this room. It feels like we are on a real boat. The way to get to the second room took us completely by surprise and is very fun and unique!
The hints are given using a talkie-walkie which isn’t our favorite but not the worst either. About the puzzles, there’s a good balance between locks and automatic mechanisms. It’s a linear type of escape room so you won’t be able to do many things at the same time. All the puzzles are related to the theme which is always great.
Overall, we really recommend this escape room. It’s ideal for beginners and families. It is a bit on the expensive side especially since it’s only 45min but it’s worth it. We were satisfied with our performance even if we did ask for hints 2 times. We liked it and we escaped!
