Heroes Reborn was the last room we completed at Mayze that morning. In this scenario, legends say that when an evil force awakens from the darkness, the legendary heroes will be reborn. Only by working together and defeating powerful foes can the heroes restore peace to the world. We think the scenario is a bit generic and lacks a clear goal.

The decor was nice, especially the creatures you encounter along the way. We appreciated that it was a multi-room escape game and how the story connected with the room’s flow. The only downside was that the decor looked a bit overused, and there wasn’t a timer in the room to track our progress.

Unfortunately, the puzzles weren’t our favorite. We didn’t find much logic in them, and there wasn’t a clear flow. We were often left wondering what to do next. Additionally, it wasn’t really about puzzle-solving but mostly placing things in the right areas to progress in the game. However, the puzzles were strongly connected to the story. It was all automatic mechanisms. Hints were given through a walkie-talkie.

Overall, we didn’t really enjoy the room as the puzzles left us frustrated, but the decor was good. It’s a family-friendly room and better suited for groups of 2-3 people. We weren’t very happy with our performance as we needed to ask for 4 hints to complete the room. We didn’t like it, but we escaped!
