At the end of the day, since we had some free time we decided to stop by Locked room- Northeast to do 2 escape rooms. We started with the room Game over. In this scenario, the princess got kidnaped again and our favorite plumbers need our help to save her. We have to unify our strengths in Video game land to solve puzzles and confront her kidnapper.
Before starting the escape room, we hear the introduction to the game in a separate room. In Game over, we liked the decor but it could have been more developed since the theme had such a great potential. We were hoping to discover more rooms with different decor style but there was only two with the same kind of decor. The music of Mario Bros was playing throughout the game which greatly helped with the immersion.

For the hints, we didn’t like that the game master enters in the room to help us because it really interrupts the immersion. As for puzzles, there wasn’t that many to solve and one was a bit long and repetitive. On the other hand, they were unique, all related to the theme and were fun to solve. There was also a nice variety of locks, automatic mechanism and physical puzzles. This is a great room for beginners and families as the puzzles were fairly easy.
Overall, we recommend this escape room as you’ll have a lot of fun fo sure. We are happy with our performance as we escaped with a good time using only 1 hint. This escape room is perfect for less experienced escape artists and families. We liked it and we escaped!
