Cosmic Strike was the third room we did that evening at Labyrinth in Aurora. In this scenario, we are the crew on board the Titan when the unthinkable happens—an asteroid impact damages life support and other vital systems. We have to work our way through the ship to find the problems and attempt to get back online. Are we going to be able to fix the ship? We liked the scenario as it’s well-detailed and has a clear goal, but it’s missing a bit of a unique twist.
The decor was well done and in good shape. It was a multi-room game with a futuristic look. The size of all the rooms was great, and they integrated the puzzles well into the decor. We also enjoyed the music playing during the game! The game master gave us the introduction story and rules before entering the room. The only downside was that we had to restart the room because there was a bug with one puzzle, but it went smoothly afterward.

The puzzles were fun to solve and all related to the theme and story. It was only automatic mechanisms and manipulation games. The puzzles weren’t easy, and many were multi-steps. It started linear, but by the end, we were able to work on more than one puzzle at a time. To get hints, we had to press a button, and they would call us on our cell phone.
Overall, we liked the room because the puzzles were fun and the decor looked great! It’s a family-friendly room and better suited for groups of 4 people. We are happy with our performance because we completed the room with time to spare and didn’t ask for any hints. We liked it and we escaped!
