Bitter sweet was the only room that we’ve done at Locked in escape room in Glasgow. It’s their easiest room but we couldn’t resist the Hansel and Gretel theme! In this scenario, we have the mission of saving the victims of the sweetie house witch. But we couldn’t resist her delicious looking cabin. After locking one of us, the witch vanished in a puff of sugary smoke. We have one hour to save our friend and destroy the witch’s crystal ball! I think this is a great and fun scenario with a clear goal.
The decors were very cute and well done! It was unfortunately only one room and a half which is always a disappointment for us. We prefer when we have multiple rooms to discover! Also, the items that were meant for the game master only were not well hidden at all so it became a bit confusing for some puzzles. Otherwise, we were impressed with the whole decor but especially the accessories in the little house. There’s also a little surprise at the end, it’s a cute idea!

The puzzles were all related to the theme and really original! They were fairly easy since it’s their easiest room and probably intended for families. The balance between traditional locks, automatic mechanisms and manipulation puzzles was perfect. We liked how creative they were with all the different puzzles. The hints were given using a walkie talkie which is fine.
Overall, this is a great room especially for families and beginners. The puzzles were fun and the decor were just adorable! We are happy with our performance as we finished with a good time without asking any hints. We liked it and we escaped!
