Our day begins with Aunt Edna’s condo at Beyond Belief in Vernon. In this scenario, your old paranoid aunt Edna suspects that most members of her family are trying to steal the inheritance her late husband left her. Now that she has been transferred to a nursing home, she calls upon you, her favorite relatives, to enter her condo and retrieve her personal belongings. Will you manage to discover all the clues left by her and her late husband before the other greedy family members arrive?
Before starting the escape game, you will watch a video with the rules and the story of the room. The decorations were beautiful, but there could have been more rooms. This is indeed the only negative point of this room. There was music and even a smell that matched the original theme. The immersion was complete in this room.

The puzzles were diversified and all related to the theme. There were many of them, and we could do several at the same time so it wasn’t linear. There were a good balance between traditional locks, automatic mechanisms and manipulation puzzles. Hints were given on the same screen that played the opening video. The game master follows the progress of our game so that’s how he knows when to give the correct hint at the right time. We liked this approach.
Overall, we recommend this escape game because we liked it and it’s well done. This room is perfect for families and for small groups. We are satisfied with our performance because we finished with good time using only 1 clue. We liked it and we escaped!
