Abduction, which is the less scary theme at Locked, was the last room that we’ve done that evening. In this scenario, weird objects have been seen in the sky of North Vancouver. We happen to be passionate about UFOs and aliens so we decide to hack into the Air force database to find the locations of the sightings. We get to the location in the middle of the night with our friends and we see a weird object. Suddenly, a beam of light appears and we hear weird noises. We lose consciousness and wake up in a room full of blue light. We need to find a way out before it’s too late!

The decors were well done and realistic as it felt like we were in a real spacecraft. As for the puzzles, it was mostly physical puzzles and automatic mechanisms. I usually prefer rooms with traditional locks and logic puzzles but I thought this one had fun puzzles after all. For the hints, we are asking for help using a walkie talkie and the game master comes in the room to help us. It’s our least favorite way of giving hints because it interrupts the immersion and the flow of the room.

This escape room is perfect for people who likes physical puzzles and games, which isn’t our case. But we had a good time anyway because it’s a well done room. We are happy with our performance as we escaped with some time left. We liked it and we escaped!
