At 6:30am, we are back at Escape 60 to play 2 escape rooms with the same game master as yesterday. We started with Best friends, a room inspired by the TV show Friends. In this scenario, a monkey (your friend’s pet) changed the code of the door, trapping everyone inside the apartment. We all have somewhere to be so we have to hurry up, solve all the puzzles, find the monkey and escape!

Outside of the room, the doors were decorated the exact same way as in the TV show. For the decors of the room, it was basically the same as if we entered the sets of the show. It was very impressive. With these amazing decors and with the music of the TV show playing, the immersion is spot on. The only downside is that there was only one big room and one small one. There were many fake doors that didn’t lead to any new rooms.

There was a lot of puzzles in this room as it’s made for 6 people or more. On the other hand, we thought that the puzzles weren’t that hard to solve. This room wasn’t linear so we were able to work on many puzzles at the same time. Only locks with letters, numbers and keys were used in this room. All the locks were identified with stickers indicating which puzzle was associated with it. The hints are given with a walkie talkie and the game master is answering as one of the character of the show.

Overall, you don’t need to know anything about friends to finish and enjoy this escape room. Besides, none of us watched the show before and we loved it anyway! We all recommend that room because it’s a unique theme and the puzzles were fun to solve! We are proud of our performance as we didn’t ask for any hints and finished with a good time. We loved it and we escaped!
