Confined Escape rooms

This room is our 3rd at Confined and it’s the scariest room out of the 4. In this scenario, we are in a strange cabin isolated in the woods. We must remain calm as there has to be a way out of here. But once we are out of the cabin, will we be really out of the woods?

We are starting separated in two different rooms and the only way to communicate is to use the walkie talkie. It’s 100% dark so it’s very scary. We hear an audio recording telling us the story and then the timer starts. The lights turn once the audio recording is over. There are a couple jump-scares and the lights keep flashing. The decors were well done as it felt that we were in a real cabin. There are more than 2 rooms which is always a plus! We also really appreciated the creepy music playing.

The hints are given on a screen which is fine since the game master is following our progress with the game. This room isn’t linear so it’s possible to work on multiple things at the same time. There are a nice variety of puzzles with a good balance between locks and automatic mechanisms. There’s one physical puzzle that was tricky but it made us laugh a lot at the same time. We really liked that we had to ask our friend in the other room for information about our puzzles. This makes things even more challenging.

Overall, I recommend this escape room because everything was great and well done! We are not too happy with our performance as we needed 3 hints. To be honest, when it’s a scary room, it really affects our speed! We liked it and we escaped!
