Reactor 4 was the only room we tried that day at Ready Set Go adventures in Toronto. In this scenario, it’s our first day at the Mid-West Nuclear Power Plant, and we’ve been assigned to Reactor 4—an older unit with an immaculate safety record. Until today! Everything suddenly goes wrong: alarms blare, bells buzz, and smoke fills the plant. It’s up to us to fix the system and stabilize the nuclear core before it’s too late. We liked the scenario because it was well detailed and had a very clear goal. We also haven’t done many nuclear-themed escape rooms, so it felt refreshing. This game is point-based, meaning you earn points by completing challenges, and you can replay the room to improve your score. You need 10 points to win!
The decors were beautiful, detailed, and in excellent condition. The layout was unique and surprising, using different levels in a clever way that clearly shows a creative team is behind this room. We were impressed by how realistic everything looked, and we appreciated how well the ceiling was camouflaged. The overall ambiance was fantastic and matched the story perfectly. This room definitely made us curious to try their other games!

The puzzles were just as strong as the decor. Everything was connected to the story and theme, and the room relied entirely on automatic mechanisms. Most puzzles were complex and multi-step, but the logic remained fairly clear. Many puzzles allowed two people to work at the same time, so the room kept us very busy! Because the game is non-linear, we could work on several things at once. We really liked the point-based concept—it kept us motivated and made it easy to track our progress. Hints were provided on a screen by the same character who introduced the game.
Overall, we really enjoyed this room and can’t wait to return for more. We were impressed with the high-quality decor and complex yet fun puzzles. It’s a family-friendly room, though the difficulty might be too high for kids. It’s best suited for groups of 2–3 players. We’re very happy with our performance because, despite the challenge, we finished quickly and didn’t ask for any hints! We loved it, and we escaped!
