Warp Inc: Time Travel was the third room we played that day at Immersia in Laval. In this scenario, Warp Inc is the only company on Earth capable of making time travel possible. They are about to launch their model W001 for the public, and we were chosen to test this experience. The risks are very high, and to ensure our safe return to the present, we must complete a quest that takes us through different eras. The scenario is great, though a little simple. Before starting, we watched a video that explained the story in more detail, but we found it much too long.
The décor was well done and realistic. Everything was in good shape, carefully designed, and made sense with the story. The space was used effectively, and we really liked the eras they chose—unexpected and very unique! We especially enjoyed the main objective of the game, which was original and brilliant. The game master welcomed us in character, which always adds an extra level of immersion, and the music throughout the game created a strong ambiance in each era.

The puzzles were well connected to both the theme and the story. The flow was smooth, and the level of difficulty felt just right. Most of the puzzles used traditional locks, with a few automatic mechanisms. The only downside was that one clue malfunctioned, which slowed us down quite a bit. Still, the connection between the story, the puzzles, and the décor was excellent. Hints were provided by the game master, who stayed in character and communicated with us through a walkie-talkie, which was a nice touch.
Overall, we really liked this room because of its original puzzles, well-designed décor, and strong storyline. The cohesion between all the elements was spot on. It’s a family-friendly room, best suited for groups of 2–3 players. We were happy with our performance, completing the room in good time with only one hint. We liked it—and we escaped!
