The Legend of the Mayan Warrior was the last room we did at Eliviascape. In this scenario, our national hero and famous explorer, Professor Quinn, is on the trail of a lost Mayan temple. His research shows that he was about to discover six idols of famous Mayan warriors. According to our investigation, he was last seen at the entrance of his office. Since then, nobody has heard from him. We must find him before the authorities consider his office a crime scene. We liked the scenario because it has a clear goal and is well-detailed.
The decor was fine, but a bit uneven between the rooms. We really liked the first and last rooms, but the second room seemed to lack purpose and decorations. We feel they could have done more with that room. We appreciated the music playing during the game. However, despite the music, we could hear very clearly what was happening outside the room, which disturbed the immersion.

The puzzles were fun to solve and all related to the theme. They weren’t too hard, and it was a linear room, meaning we could only work on one thing at a time. It was a mix of traditional locks and automatic mechanisms. The hints were given via audio in the room by a character related to the story.
Overall, we liked the room, but it’s not our favorite at Eliviascape. It’s a family-friendly room that is better suited for small groups of 2-3 people. We are happy with our performance because we completed the room with time to spare and asked for only one hint. We liked it, and we escaped!
