Our great day continues with the room 24 at Exode Évasion in Quebec City. In this scenario, after seeing Pierre Noël’s garage’s job offer, we decide to go help them during the busiest day of the year: Dec 24th. Mr. Noël left us a list of things to do and we have to make sure that we finish in time!
Before starting the room, we have to listen to a video explaining the rules and the story. The Holiday theme is original especially with the garage twist. We were impressed with the decors as it was so adorable and perfectly built. The way to get to the second room is really surprising! We didn’t see it coming at all. The immersion is complete as they really managed to create the perfect Holiday ambiance.

The puzzles were all related to the theme and there was a good balance between traditional locks and automatic mechanisms. All the puzzles had a nice logic even if they weren’t that hard. There wasn’t any manipulation games which is positive for us as we aren’t fan of these type of puzzles. For the hints, we were contacting the game master with a phone and they would help us with the puzzle we are stuck on while playing a character related to the story. We think that it was a great way of giving hints.
Overall, we recommend this escape room as the theme and puzzles are so fun! It’s the perfect room for families and small groups. We are happy with our performance as we finished with a good time. We loved it and we escaped!
