Our amazing day at Lockdown in Red deer continues with The cave of the five elements to save humanity. In this scenario, we and our team are on a quest to find the cave of the five elements, make them appear and engage with them to save all humanity in the solar system. Will we ba able to accomplish our mission in time?

The escape room starts with the game master telling us the story along with some basic rules. From the start, we were impressed with the decors as it was so realistic that it felt like we were in a real cave. Moreover, some elements of the decors are really surprising and impressive. The immersion in the room is spot on and the goal is very clear. Be warned, crawling and climbing is required in this escape room. Also, if you suffer from claustrophobia, this isn’t an escape room for you.

The hints are given using a walkie-talkie. It’s not our favorite way but it’s not the worst either. There wasn’t that many puzzles but they were complex and long to solve at least. It was mostly automatic mechanism and physical puzzles without any traditional locks. They usually offer a tablet to help people with the puzzles but the game master didn’t want to give it to us to make it harder.

Overall, we highly recommend doing this escape room because of it’s amazing decor, puzzles and unique features. We are happy with our performance but disappointed to have asked for one hint that we ended up not really needing. We finished with a good time considering how hard it was. We loved it and we escaped!
