On into our second room at E-Exit Broadway. Just had a beautiful day skiing with friends but oops, an avalanche just happened. Racing down the mountain to try to escape (so meta) the avalanche, we fall into a deep crevasse, get injured and now need to get help to get out alive from Lanford Mountain.
The immersion in the crevasse is really great. You have a bunch of tools to try to get out. The puzzles are well aligned with your mission. They are pretty linear, so if you have a big group, it’s gonna be a little bit boring for other people waiting for you to be done. If you happen to escape alive from Lanford Mountain, the last puzzle is really clever and impressive!

Depending on the company, each one has a way to mark all the stuff that isn’t related to the game and that you shouldn’t touch. Don’t start that fire alarm. But here there’s unfortunately a lot of that yellow tape everywhere. That could turn off some people, if you’re sensible to that kind of detail. The gamemaster is also coming into the room to help you when you ask for a hint, which we’re not a fan of.
It’d be a great room for families. We had a really good time!
