Here it is, our first visit at SOS Aventures. Also, finishing our day after doing all the rooms at Sauve qui peut. We’re joined by another friend, so 6 for this room (probably the biggest group we usually do). We had heard good things about Wicca and were not disappointed. The immersion was instantaneous. You also go from the nice waiting area to the room by walking in the most boring neon lighted office hallway and enter the room right in front of the washrooms, (they share the floor with other businesses) so it makes the immersion even more impressive.

‘’On Sabbath night, you and your friends are captured by the wicked Witches of the Order of Balthazar. Their goal is to sacrifice your group in order to perform a demonic ritual against the circle of Light: a group of good witches who have lived in the neighboring region for several generations.’’
Well, that’s gonna be a fun evening. You enter right next to what is probably the Witches wooden shack, and it’s beautiful and dark. If you’re a fan of going through multiple rooms, this is for you. Different levels, many rooms, this is awesome. We’re usually not fans of big groups, but there was enough stuff to do to keep everyone busy, the puzzles were aligned with the theme and well diversified. Bunch of locks and you guessed it, magic. Also, I hope you don’t mix rosemary with lavender when you cook because well, it ain’t gonna work. You’ll smell.
In case you’re stuck, you can ask for help by reaching your good witch friend (sorry friend, forgot your name) through a magical device you got at the beginning that weirdly looks like an iPod touch, device probably made by Jobs, a very powerful mage.
We’re also big fans of music and effects in escape rooms and this one is nicely done. Nothing worse than entering a room and thinking that you’re in a library. Well, except if you’re in a library escape room… Haven’t done one yet. Let me know if you know one.
The witches probably got tired at the end because there was a little glitch in the last puzzle. It has probably been there for a few centuries already so that’s alright. We were still able to ‘’unite our power and regain our freedom’’.
