Volcano Views was the last room we played that day at Escape from the 6. In this scenario, we’re invited on an aerial tour of a volcanic island to witness a live eruption from the safety of the skies. Landing is far too dangerous—but flying over it? That’s the plan. We can sit back, relax… what could possibly go wrong? We liked the scenario because it was well detailed, and the volcano twist felt fresh and unique!

The set design was absolutely stunning and incredibly immersive. Everything looked realistic—especially the plane and the high-ceiling first room. The game starts with a motion experience, and it’s one of the most impressive we’ve seen so far. The space is huge, with multiple areas to explore. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and everything was in great condition. The background music added to the atmosphere and helped maintain immersion throughout. In terms of immersion and set design, the experience is a solid 10/10.

The puzzles were enjoyable but leaned more toward interactive tasks than traditional puzzles. Most of the gameplay involved automatic mechanisms and manipulation-based challenges, all tied in well with the story. The experience started as semi-guided, meaning we had to wait for audio narration to finish before moving forward. We felt that a few extra clues or instructions would have helped clarify some tasks. While we could request hints using a walkie-talkie on the plane, the game master had to physically enter the room to help during later sections. This broke the immersion a bit, which we didn’t love.

Overall, we really enjoyed this room thanks to its breathtaking decor and immersive atmosphere. While the puzzles weren’t our favorites, the experience as a whole still made it well worth trying. It’s a family-friendly room and better suited for a group of four. We’re happy with our performance—we completed the room with a good time, even though we did ask for three hints. We liked it, and we escaped!
