We continued our morning with Unforeseeable Pyramids at Freeing Canada Station in Richmond Hill. In this scenario, while cleaning the office of Dr. Jonathan Bancroft, an archaeology professor who vanished a decade ago, you discover his old journal. His final entry recounts a chilling mystery—his colleague, Professor Milligan, disappeared inside a newly uncovered Egyptian pyramid, leaving only his terrified assistant behind. Determined to uncover the truth, you and your team set off on an expedition into the ancient ruins, hoping to solve the mystery of the missing professors. The scenario is quite long on their website, but it is well explained, making the objective very clear.
Before entering the escape room, the game master explains the rules and the story. The decors are well done and quite impressive, with materials that make it feel realistic and immersive. There is also music that fits the theme. The room is quite dark which makes sense since we are in a pyramid and there’s slightly macabre elements, but there are no jump scares. The immersion is very well accomplished here and the ending is quite surprising, we didn’t expect it to go in that direction at all.

The puzzles in this room are complexe and a few of them were multiple steps puzzles. We really enjoyed them because it required a lot of thoughts to figure out the logic. They are all related to the theme and story. The experience is linear, so you must solve them one at a time. There’s a good balance between automatic mechanisms and traditional locks. Hints are requested via walkie-talkie, and then the game master enters the room to assist you.
Overall, we enjoyed this escape room because of its stunning set design and great puzzles. We don’t recommend bringing young children due to the dark atmosphere. It’s best to play with a group of at least four people, as the puzzles are complex and take time to solve. We are very satisfied with our performance, as we completed the room in good time without asking for any hints. We like it and we escaped!
