The first game of the day is Blind Tiger at Escaparium in Laval. In this scenario, you’ve reserved a table at Blind Tiger, the most sought-after bar in town. You’re there for a special event and arrive at the bar one hour early. A mistake that will turn your experience into an unexpected adventure and an unforgettable experience awaits. What will you do to pass the time before the event: explore the backstage of Blind Tiger or start the evening early with a few special cocktails? Before starting, the game master, dressed as a character related to the theme, comes to get you and explains the story and the objective of the room. The objective is very clear. The scenario is also original because you have to play along and take on a role related to the theme throughout the game.

The decor is beautiful and realistic. There are several rooms, and they are quite spacious. The music really gives the impression of being in a speakeasy. The attention to details and finishing touches are perfect. We also liked how they integrated the puzzles into the decor. The immersion is well-executed especially with the game master impersonating a character related to the story.

The puzzles are quite challenging and truly original. There are many of them, and they are all related to the theme. You can solve several at the same time, so the escape game is non-linear. There’s a great mix of locks and automatic mechanisms. Hints are given via walkie-talkie by the first character at the start of the game, and a second character, also related to the theme, will come to see you in person a few times during your experience. This character will also help with the progression of the game.

Overall, we really enjoyed this escape room because the scenario, immersion, puzzles, and the way hints are provided were all great and well done. This room is perfect for families and small groups of 2-3 people. We are satisfied with our performance, as we completed it in good time, only asking for 1 hint. We escaped and we loved it!
