We continue our day at Exit in Langley with Wild West High Noon. In this scenario, a mad scientist named Loveless Louie recently received a huge bounty. This bounty has attracted bounty hunters from all over the country, including you and your group. The other bounty hunters rely more on their firearms than on their wits, but hunting a scientist will require more than just sharpshooting skills. You and your group can hit the jackpot by finding him, but you’ll need to use your curious minds and observational skills. All the odds are in your favor because your group possess plenty of them. The rumor in town is that Loveless Louie is hiding in the Oasis Saloon, but few people find a way in, and those who succeed don’t come out.

The scenario is a bit weird and not very clear, and we didn’t understand the ending of this room. We liked that there was several rooms in this escape game. But there is no element of surprise when discovering a new room since all the different escape games we have done at Exit Langley are configured exactly in the same way. However, the decors are well done and quite elaborate in Wild west compared to other rooms at this location. The immersion wasn’t that great anyway as we were missing music and the element of surprise.

The puzzles are linear in this escape game which means that we can only work on one puzzle at a time. It was mainly automatic mechanisms. We like most of the puzzle because they were fun to solve. However, there are 2 similar puzzles (one after the other) that use the same principle to find the answer, and we really don’t like that. The game master enters the room to give hints, which is not our preferred method.

Overall, we liked this room okay because the decors were nice and the puzzles were fun. If you have to pick among the 4 rooms at Exit in Langley, this is the one you should try. We are not happy with our performance as we didn’t finish and asked for 3 hints. We liked it okay but didn’t escape!
